THE Big Diving Fair
... GONING ON IN 2009...
First, thank you to all fo you who has made the 2008 Festival a big success. So, with all our partners, we are getting ready to offer you another great Festival in 2009, with the same professional and friendly atmospher.
Theme
This year we celebrate the 200 anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin.
An exhibition of pictures done by the famous American photgrapher, Michael Müller will be shown.
A documentary film that was done in Galápagos during an expediton to give a tribute to Charles Darwin will be projected on Saturday 10th of October.
We have invinting Sandra Bessudo, a famous marin biologiste marin who defend the environment in Malpelo (Colombia) to chair the Festival.
Diving
The dive on wrecks of the area will be available, like the discovery the dives in the National Parc of Port Cros.
Patrice Strazzera made us the friendship to accept our invitation again. And this time you will be able to dive with him.
Considering the success of the year 2008, we renew elementary and advanced Nitrox Cours.
Diving "Baptême" : you will be able to make your first dive in the pool and if we find a reliable partner... Baptêmes in Rebreather in the sea.
And also, Snorkling exploration...
The final program will be on line at the end of April.
Films and Speakers
Like last year, you will be able to appreciate the documentary Film of our partner the Maritime, Exploration and Environment International Festival Film of Toulon.
The film Director Jean-François Barthod will present to show his film on the Orca of Crozet.
You will be able also to attend the conferences on: diving with mixed gases; rebreather; safety; marine biology and of course the diving in Galápagos and Malpelo.
Exibitors and Entertainment
Our partners “Exhibitors” will be always there to make you discover their material, but also test the diving suit of Top Star, like other equipment.
Mireille Payre, painter will be present to make discover to the children the art of painting.
